DAVID ELF
CEO
David founded Elf & Sons in 2018, carrying forward his family business in North London, England, dating back to 1912. David puts a high premium on superb craftsmanship and attention to details. He treats every home as if it was his own and every customer as if they were family. David lives in Riva, MD with his wife, two kids, and two dogs. David loves fishing and would turn his boat into an on-water office, if he could.
ELIZABETH HORNE
SENIOR DESIGNER
Elizabeth joined Elf & Sons after running her own design business for 12 years. Her work has been featured in the Washingtonian, Home and Design and on the cover of Annapolis Home Magazine. She's solution-oriented, and skilled at crafting a vision for any room in the house. Elizabeth lives with her husband and two girls in College Park. Her favorite sport is NCAA basketball and she hopes to learn how to fly fish.
YOAV STEIN
COO
Yoav joined Elf & Sons in 2023, taking his experience working with a wide variety of customers from the nonprofit sector to the commercial world. Providing excellent experience to customers and helping them fulfill their needs and wants are the hallmark of his daily work. Yoav leads the company’s solar roofing and green building efforts. Yoav was born and raised in Northern Israel and has been living in Washington, DC since 2013, with his wife and two girls.
SALVADOR MOLINA
PROJECT MANAGER
Salvador joined Elf & Sons after building a career in both project and property management, working on a wide range of commercial and residential projects. He enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and helping projects come together from start to finish. When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find him spending time with his wife and two children, behind a camera capturing special moments, or serving at his local community.
DAVE THOMAS
PROJECT MANAGER
As a Project Manager at Elf and Sons, David Thomas bridges the gap between design vision and physical execution. Bringing two decades of diverse industry experience, David spent 15 years mastering multi-family commercial remodeling before transitioning his expertise to high-end residential remodeling and specialized residential elevator installations.
He manages cross-functional teams of subcontractors, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. David remains calm under pressure and troubleshooting complex structural and logistical issues on-site.
David’s unique ability to connect with people stems from his previous career playing professional paintball for the Baltimore Arsenal, which allowed him to travel across Europe and the country meeting people from all walks of life. Today, he spends his time off the clock on the sidelines of soccer and rugby fields, coaching and cheering on his two boys.
